LOCAL MISSIONS
Almont vineyard Church Food Pantry
Thursdays from 3 -5 pm. Holiday hours vary.
*Note: during the winter months, the food pantry is closed when Almont Community Schools are closed
It takes a community to feed a community
Locally, AVC has an outreach that provides food to the community weekly on Thursdays.
Since 2008, Manna has been providing food to local families who have found themselves in need of some practical assistance. In 2020 alone, this outreach provided the food products for more than 14,000 meals. This Food Pantry is funded 100% by donations from individuals, businesses and private grants. We in turn purchase food available through Food Banks, receive from food drives and other community resources.
Also, our local farmers are an important resource, as they donate locally grown vegetables and fruits.
If you would like to donate to Manna Food Pantry, simply select ‘Give’
at the top of the page and follow the instructions.
Leader: Lois Woodcox
“This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died,
but he who feeds on this bread will live forever.” John 6:58
Almont Vineyard Church also supports various Missions around the world
including Operation Christmas Child annually
