Experience the transforming
power and presence of Jesus Christ.
Here’s how it works: You volunteer 5-
If you know of someone who is a senior, widow, chronically ill, a service member, or just someone who needs encouragement, then please contact us and we will have one of our writers correspond with them.
Please, due to privacy issues, make sure that you have permission from the person you are wishing us to contact before you submit their information. Thank you!
Have you ever thought, “I wish I could do something to further the kingdom but I just don’t have the time?” Well God is on the move and is willing meet you “right where you are”. Encouraging Words is an opportunity to serve our community through continuous written correspondence and it’s a ministry you have time for!
On a personal note:
“I have had the honor of writing several seniors over the past three years. At first, months went by without reciprocation from any of my seniors, then one December I received a Christmas card from one of the women I had been writing. It didn’t say much, but what it said impacted me greatly, “Thank you for caring”. Wow! I began to realize that my seniors wait every month to get my correspondence! God hit me over the head with many blessings that day!
God wants to bless you too! His Word says we are “blessed to be a blessing”. Won’t you join me in this exciting endeavor and see what God will do for you and the lives of others?
Thinking of one the songs we sing at service:
“Shine your light and let the whole world see, we’re (singing) writing...
For the glory of the risen King…Jesus” AMEN!
In Christ,
